      • SFG loves summertime and summer camps. What a great way to learn new tricks and perfect owned skills. With the extra time spent in the gym, children with gymnastics experience have the opportunity to learn new and exciting skills much more quickly than with a weekly one hour class. Children who haven't done gymnastics before also benefit by having a longer block of time to learn a new sport.  Campers start the day with art lessons, crafts, walking field trips to the beach, Marine Wildlife Sanctuary, the fire house, the stables, and other interesting spots in the Presidio. After a snack (provided), they get busy with gymnastics rotations including tumbling, bars, beam, rings, vault, and trampoline and our full size bouncy house! The day is concluded alternately with other activities such as soccer, circus skills, dance, yoga, balloon volleyball, group games, obstacle courses, and open gym. Children and coaches enjoy getting to know each other and spending longer amounts of time together, which is evident when families pick up their kids after lunch.
        CONTINUING THIS YEAR:
Every Friday SFG campers will have an afternoon field trip to the EXPLORATORIUM!   Campers will be shuttled to the Exploratorium for a fun adventure in science and exploration with their SFG counselors.  Campers will wear their SFG field Trip T-shirt.  To be supplied!
        WHAT TO BRING:
Campers will need to bring a sack lunch if staying past noon, a personal water bottle labeled with their name, sunscreen, a light jacket and hat for outdoor walks.  Appropriate clothing for campers will allow maximum movement (leotard, sweat pants, shorts, t-shirt, etc...)  Please no jeans, skirts, tights, or clothing with buttons and/or zippers.  A pair of sturdy shoes (tennis shoes) for hiking and easy on/off shoes such as flip flops for going to the bathroom or at the beach are appropriate

***Students attending Planet Granite weeks must also have Planet Granite waivers filled out and signed as well as a photocopy of the ID of one parent.

        FEES:
To guarantee your space in camp and ease the check-in process, payment is due in full at the time of registration.  Late pickups after 12:05p.m. for morning campers or 3:05p.m. for full day campers will be charged $1.00 per minute, payable to the supervising coach.
