    Summer Camps
(Weekly the third week of June through the third week of August. No camp the week of July Fourth Holiday)

SFG loves summertime and summer camps. What a great way to learn new tricks and perfect owned skills. With the extra time spent in the gym, children with gymnastics experience have the opportunity to learn new and exciting skills much more quickly than with a weekly one hour class. Children who haven't done gymnastics before also benefit by having a longer block of time to learn a new sport. Camps are run during the morning 9:00a.m. - 3:00p.m, weekly, throughout the summer. Campers start the day with art lessons, crafts, walking field trips to the beach, Marine Wildlife Sanctuary, the fire house, the stables, and other interesting spots in the Presidio. After a snack (provided), they get busy with gymnastics rotations including tumbling, bars, beam, rings, vault, and trampoline. The day is concluded alternately with other activities such as soccer, circus skills, dance, yoga, group games, obstacle courses, and open gym. Children and coaches enjoy getting to know each other and spending longer amounts of time together, which is evident when families pick up their kids after lunch. At the end of the week, parents are invited for a small recital to view what the children have learned.

Cost: varied by member/non-member. Camp size is limited, schedule ahead for pick of days and special pricing..

Call for dates, prices, brochure and sign up information (415) 561-6260.
