Include SFG in your child's curriculum. SFG offers daytime programs for on-site or off-site classes that are a great way to enrich your physical education program. HOME SCHOOL CLASSES We are proud to offer in house class times specifically for home-schooled children. We design our classes to meet the needs of students based on California state framework standards. The California Public Schools Physical Education Framework has three major goals: Movement skills and movement knowledge. Self-image and personal development Social development The state framework states, "Content areas (such as tumbling and gymnastics) are vehicles for developing and refining skills. The content and the skills areas are the basis of physical education." We can provide a truly fun physical and educational experience. With parents, SFG creates lesson plans that are developed specifically for the group in eight-week units, written by professionals based on the grade level(s) and needs of the group. For all groups, lesson planning, directing/teaching and, if desired, assessment are all included. Emphasis is on motor skills, gymnastics, hand-eye coordination, and large muscle control. Please plan ahead as space and time slots are limited.
